In keeping with other events organized by the Association Bastioni, The Bastioni Debates want to be an opportunity to discus, dispute and challenge matters linked with the conservation and restoration of our national and international heritage. Following the style of Anglo-Saxon debates , the Bastioni Debates encourages the participation of the audience who will be asked to question the debaters as well as voting the final winner. After the success of the Talking Corner promoted and organized by the publishing house Nardini Editore, for the first edition of the Art and Restoration Fair held at Florence in 2009 (Salone dell’ Arte e del Restauro, Firenze) the Bastioni Debates will be held for the first time in the Talking Corner of Fair’s second edition 2012, which will take place in Florence at the Fortezza da Basso the 8th, 9th 10th of Novemeber.
